We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Romania as a Software Engineer. We have a library of books and videos with good content and encourage staying on top of new practices. In terms of our tech stack , we host our docker containerized apps on AWS in EKS Kubernetes. In the containers, we run a mix of NodeJs/Typescript and Kotlin on the JVM.

We use PostgreSQL for our services and MongoDB for the legacy monolith. Key requirements: At least 4 years of experience with strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js, with exposure to React; Experience working with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS); experience with PostgreSQL; Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment management; Proven track record with high-load systems and distributed architectures; Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize backend systems; Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and collaborate across teams. Key responsibilities: Build and deliver high-quality product features as part of a collaborative engineering team; Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices for secure software development; Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, and reviews to support effective delivery; Apply continuous delivery practices, including automated testing and clear, concise pull requests; Help maintain high standards of performance, reliability, security, and product quality; Take part in technical design and architecture discussions and contribute to engineering improvements.
