Engineer / Senior Engineer - Planning

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Inventory Planning & Forecasting – Evaluate and forecast material requirements using software systems, Work with buyers and teams to forecast raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory, reset safety stock and ABC classification, and prepare quarterly E&O proposals. Coordination : Work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure alignment with physical stock.

Issue Resolution : Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, inventory discrepancies, or supplier problems Strategy Implementation: Implement strategies for inventory management to prevent shortages and excesses. Trend Analysis: Conduct regular reviews of material demand and supply patterns to identify trends and make necessary adjustments Performance Tracking – Drive ITO against targets, monitor order modifiers (MOQ, FDS, FLM), and track KPIs to ensure procurement performance stays on course. Reporting & Communication – Prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for AP management, maintain accurate procurement data, and communicate effectively across teams.

Continuous Improvement – Review and reset purchase policies periodically, refine inventory strategies, and support operational efficiency through proactive monitoring and adjustments. For This Role, You Will Need: Engineering Degree with- years years relevant experience Knowledge of valve industry Good analytical skills Good communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department required.
