Engagement Manager

We are seeking an experienced strategy professional to join a high-performing advisory team supporting private equity firms and senior executives on critical strategic and organizational initiatives. This role is focused on hands‑on problem solving, client engagement, and execution, with an emphasis on delivering high‑quality work and driving impact. The environment is entrepreneurial, apprenticeship-driven, and offers direct exposure to senior stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on ownership and impact Key Responsibilities Independently structure and workplan complex client engagements Lead day-to-day execution across one or more workstreams Develop clear, well-supported analyses and recommendations Work directly with client stakeholders (Director/VP level) Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights Collaborate closely with senior leadership on engagement direction Manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight Experience at a top-tier consulting firm or equivalent strategy role Demonstrated ability to independently structure and execute projects end-to-end Strong client handling skills and sound professional judgment Proven track record of producing high-quality, client-ready deliverables Excellent problem-solving, structuring, and communication skills Comfortable operating as a hands‑on individual contributor (no team management) Confident working directly with mid‑to‑senior level stakeholders Strong project management and execution capabilities Interested in an execution-focused role rather than a traditional promotion track Prior industry experience is a plus Exposure to talent, organizational, or operating model work is a plus Start: ASAP Time Commitment: 5 days per week, 3 days in person Location: New York City Expected rate: Client did not provide rate #J-18808-Ljbffr
