Emergency Department RN Manager

Role:

Responsible for the operational and clinical management of an Emergency Department unit, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manages staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Develops and maintains staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, responding to business changes as needed.
• Directs patient care delivery following evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
• Promotes customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and efficient operations through system evaluation and implementation.
• Supports growth initiatives and oversees team performance to meet operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires RN licensure, with 2-5 years of experience and supervisory experience of less than 2 years. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with 5-10 years of experience and 2-5 years of supervisory experience.

Key Duties:

Oversee patient care delivery in a Level IV Emergency Department, manage staff, develop budgets, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency to support departmental objectives.
