Detection & Controls Sales Support Engineer โ EMEA About the Rol eWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Detection & Controls Sales Support Engineer to join our EMEA team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in supporting a growing portfolio of fire detection, control, and life safety solutions across the region .As the technical expert within the team, you will provide advanced technical support, product expertise, and training to customers, sales teams, and industry stakeholders. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure solutions are correctly specified, supported, and implemented, while helping drive business growth across the EMEA market .
Key Responsibiliti esProvide Level 2 technical support for detection and control systems to customers, internal teams, consultants, and specifier s.Support regional sales teams with technical expertise to help achieve sales and margin objective s.Assist operations teams with technical input for quotations, project documentation, and solution desig n.Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and stakeholder s.Support the specification of detection and control solutions with consultants, end users, and internal colleague s.Develop and deliver technical and commercial training programmes for both internal teams and external customer s.Gather market feedback and contribute to product improvements and new product development initiative s.Support the introduction and evaluation of new and beta product s.Collaborate with colleagues across the business to share knowledge and provide technical support when require d.Assist in resolving product-related technical issues and claims by providing expert guidance and recommendation s.Support compliance activities, including local approvals, certifications, and adherence to relevant industry standard s. Location & Tra velThis role can be based in the UK, Poland, Spain, or Italy and offers a hybrid working environment from one of our regional offic es.Travel across the EMEA region is required for approximately 20% of the ro le. Skills & Experi enceEssen tialStrong technical knowledge of detection, control, and life safety syst ems.Experience in technical support, applications engineering, or product train ing.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ski lls.Strong communication and presentation abilit ies.Professional proficiency in Engl ish.Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced international environm ent.Desir ableAdditional European language ski lls.Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-driven proje cts.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and approval proces ses.
