Spanish Teacher – Teaching Spanish as an additional Language

Lincoln School is seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher to join our Elementary School team beginning in November 2026.

Position Summary

The Spanish Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging Spanish as a Second Language instruction, supporting student language acquisition, cultural awareness, and academic growth. The teacher works collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish as an additional Language lessons aligned with standards and learning objectives.
  • Create a classroom environment that promotes language acquisition, cultural awareness, engagement, and academic growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and families.
  • Support diverse learners through differentiated instruction and appropriate learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and professional development.

Education

  • Profesorado de Escuela Primaria (Maestro de Grado).
  • Valid teaching certification appropriate to the subject and grade level.

Languages

  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in both languages.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of classroom teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Spanish as an additional language.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Experience and interest in Argentine Civics and History
  • Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
