Job Description

• Assembling,installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintainingelectronic components and systems
  
• Build prototypemodels based on technical guidelines
  
• Sourcing orfabricating replacement parts for electronicsystems
  
• Monitor and report onproject progress
  
• Ensuring all powerand manual tools are operated in accordance with healthand safety regulations
  
• Repair malfunctionsin circuitry and other system structures
  
• Performing equipmentdemonstrations and drawing up training manuals whereverrequired
  
• Use various tools tobuild and repair systems (e.g. grinders)
  

Requirements

• Degree or completedcoursework in engineering or electronics
  
• Previous experienceas electronic technician or similar role
  
• A Relevantcertificate or license may be required
  
• Hands-on experiencewith electronic testing and circuitry
  
• Good hand-eyecoordination and physical dexterity
  
• Familiarity workingwith various tools and equipment
  
• Excellent written,verbal, and telephonic communication skills
  
• Sound knowledge ofhealth and safety regulations
