Electronic Engineering Technician

Job Description Job Description Duties & Responsibilities: Perform UPS calibration to product-specifications Perform general functional and operational test Instrument calibration and testing procedure of new products (prototype and/or first article) Detailed documentation of calibration and test results Detailed documentation of failed calibration and test Troubleshoot and repair products that failed calibration and/or functional tests Detailed documentation of performed troubleshooting and repair Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering (Bachelor Degree A+) 2+ years direct or parallel experience as engineering technician (5+ years A+) Solid understanding of electrical schematics and interpret application and function of every circuit Ability to identify electronic components and their functions and applications Ability to troubleshoot and properly identify cause of failure Ability to perform static and dynamic electronic measurements Basic foundational knowledge using DMM and LCR meter, and Oscilloscope Auxiliary requirement: Solder skills - ability to repair and or modify PCB assembly as needed (remove-and-replace failed components, thru-hole and SMD, and repair damaged trace/pad, and wire-hole/via) Company Description Adept HR is a Staffing Services assisting our clients with their staffing needs.
