Electrical systems engineer (Fairfax)

Work on electronics that operates in the harshest environments possible - whilst taking full ownership over the systems engineering process that gets it there and keeps it working. The scope here is genuinely broad - you'll be working across electrical, firmware, and software disciplines, with a particular focus on electronics. You'll be running all the design reviews, ensuring the project is progressing as planned, and acting as the point of contact for both internal and. external stakeholders.

The decisions you make will have a direct impact on program success. This role is based on site in the Fairfax, Virginia area, and the base salary is in the region of $170k - $200k. What you'll do Own the systems design process end to end - everything from requirements, to design, and verification and validation Lead teams containing electrical, firmware, and software engineers through the entire product development lifecycle for complex space electronics projects Act as the technical lead on programs - presenting to the team at design reviews and representing them to customers What you'll need 7+ years experience in electronics/firmware Experience working on electronics for space or aerospace applications Strong familiarity with system engineering design methodology and tools Experience leading a team through a full product development lifecycle Please click below to apply, or message me directly for further information.
