Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (San Antonio)

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support onsite aerospace manufacturing operations in San Antonio, TX. This role is focused on translating electrical design requirements into executable production build plans while supporting real-time issue resolution on the shop floor. The engineer will work closely with mechanics, manufacturing, and design engineering teams to support ECAT activities, develop build sequencing, create Out of Sequence Installation Plans (OSIPs), and troubleshoot electrical issues impacting cost, quality, and schedule.

This position requires flexibility to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, with overtime and weekend support as needed in a fast-paced production environment. Required Skills & Experience: • 4–5+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements into manufacturing build or sequence plans in an aerospace or manufacturing environment • Previous experience supporting aerospace manufacturing programs • Experience using manufacturing and engineering systems such as WIRS, MES CI, REDARS, and IVT • ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) or equivalent shop floor issue‑resolution experience working directly with mechanics • Strong ability to read, interpret, and navigate engineering drawings • Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) • Ability to support multiple shifts and onsite manufacturing operations Compensation: Hourly pay rate: $55-60 per hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
