We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a highly respected and innovative business in Wetherby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a close-knit team on a variety of exciting projects, combining hands-on electrical work with creative engineering problem-solving.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding of commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Supporting electrical installations across buildings, lighting and site infrastructure
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly to minimise downtime
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Working safely in line with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
  • Collaborating with engineering and operations teams on interesting development projects
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative solutions

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within industrial and/or commercial electrical environments
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of current electrical regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Practical, flexible and proactive approach
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of electronics and control systems
  • Working knowledge of automation and automated machinery
  • AM2 Qualification
  • Mechanical maintenance experience

Hours

  • Flexible start and finish times between 7:30am and 5:30pm
  • Occasional additional hours during busy project periods, including some late evenings (up to 9:30pm)
