Food Manufacturing Client | Linden, NJ
Shift: Day Shift

Important — Cold Environment Notice
This position operates in a refrigerated production environment, with parts of the facility running as cold as 34–38°ree;F and freezer areas dropping below freezing. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions for extended periods.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, automated machinery, and packaging lines
• Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic issues with minimal supervision
• Leading or supporting major repairs, equipment overhauls, and planned shutdown work
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
• Working with PLCs to troubleshoot automated equipment faults
• Mentoring junior technicians (Tech B/C) on the floor as needed
• Documenting all maintenance activity through the CMMS system
• Following GMP, food safety, and safety protocols on the production floor

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Direct experience with conveyors and automated production equipment
• PLC troubleshooting experience required
• Food manufacturing background strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment for the duration of the shift
• Ability to work independently and lead on complex repairs
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
