Electrical Maintenance Technician

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic skilled Electrical Technician to work as part of a small team to support the smooth running of the factory and its operations.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repairs and adjust where necessary.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Use initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support.

• Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineering experience within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment
• 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations or equivalent
• Minimum of NVQ L2 electrical qualifications (ideally NVQ L3) or equivalent
• Fault finding, Mechanical and Electrical
• Experience working on 3-phase electrical equipment
