Electrical Estimator – Residential New Construction Electrical Estimator – Residential New Construction Location: Northeast San Antonio, TX (serving Austin, San Antonio, Marble Falls & surrounding areas) About Us: We are a well-established Northeast San Antonio electrical contractor specializing in residential new construction for top homebuilders across Central Texas. With a reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and help us continue to grow. Position Overview: The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for bidding and managing residential projects from start to finish, ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

This role requires a combination of electrical expertise, estimating experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with builders, field teams, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret homebuilder specifications to prepare detailed and accurate proposals. Create and update proposals using company estimating processes and software.

Ensure all proposals comply with the National Electrical Code and local authority requirements. Clearly communicate scope of work to all parties to ensure homes are wired to customer specifications and operate flawlessly. Dispatch jobs to the field in alignment with customer timelines.

Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure materials are ordered and ready for rough-in and trim stages. Foster relationships with existing customers, seek out new business, and represent the company at builder and industry events. Stay informed on new technologies, products, and industry best practices to expand company offerings and increase sales.

Qualifications: Active TDLR electrical license (Residential Wireman or higher). Proven experience bidding residential electrical projects. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local regulations. Familiarity with advanced electrical and lighting products, including architectural recessed lighting, lighting control systems, and home automation.
