Responsibilities Utilize technical expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring compliance with industry and client standards, codes, and regulations. Collaborate with crossâfunctional teamsâincluding architecture, engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractorsâto deliver design packages.
Lead project teams and provide comprehensive engineering design packages to federal, state, local, commercial, industrial, and university clients. Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality and accuracy of work and communicating effectively with project managers and clients. Work with the electrical team across offices to conduct loadâflow analysis, shortâcircuit analysis, voltageâdrop calculations, and to enhance internal standards.
Requirements 4â8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering. Bachelorâs degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABETâaccredited institution. Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, or ability to obtain registration through reciprocity within three months of start date.
Experience in buildingâsystem design, including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding and lightning protection, and emergency and uninterruptible power systems. Familiarity with systemâmodeling software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, AGI) and knowledge of sustainable design practices. Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desirable Prior consulting experience. Federal government design experience. LEED accreditation.
