Electrical Engineer

Ormandy Rycroft Engineering is one of the most iconic brands in the HVAC industry, UK based and established over 125 years ago.The role will be a permanent position, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. The successful applicant will be responsible for: Identify customer requirements. Design systems and products.

Read design specs and technical drawings. Creating project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software. Estimating costs and project timings.

Manage projects and deliver them on time. Making sure projects meet safety regulations. Attending meetings, writing reports, and giving presentations.

Providing technical assistance. Problem solving and analyse issues. Assess the tools and information required to develop solutions.

Assist with spare parts selection. Proven expertise as an electrical engineer. Hands on experience using design and calculation software.

Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards. Knowledge of heating and ventilation. Strong organisational and communication skills.
