Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the electrical design, development, and improvements of new or existing products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Originates and/or develops designs for products relating to defined project specifications. 2.
Creates electrical schematics and machine software as required. 3. Creates electrical bill-of-materials of product design. 4. Works with customers to troubleshoot field service issues. 5.
Understands lean manufacturing concepts and initiates process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 6 . Performs other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience.
Experience: Three years of industry related experience. Five years of hardware/software experience in Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs. Skills: Communications and technical understanding across multiple disciplines is a necessity.
Must be familiar with programming software, business systems, and Microsoft Office software programs. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of concrete products equipment, production of products, and common plant practices a plus.
