Job Description Job Description Confidential Opportunity β Electrical Engineer (Building Systems Design) | Hybrid Role A highly ranked national MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This is a confidential opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about electrical building systems design and looking to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with flexibility to work from home up to 2β3 days per week after an initial onboarding period. Key Responsibilities: β’ Design electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects across multiple sectors β’ Develop lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and emergency/standby power systems β’ Prepare design documents including drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications β’ Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines β’ Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards β’ Support construction administration including submittal review, RFIs, site visits, and field reporting β’ Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and code officials throughout all project phases β’ Contribute to project delivery in a fast-paced, multi-project environment Qualifications: β’ 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for building design projects β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering β’ EIT or PE license preferred β’ Strong understanding of electrical building systems design β’ Experience with lighting and power system design for new construction and renovations β’ Familiarity with industry tools such as COMcheck, REScheck, FlaCom, Visual, AGi32, and SKM Power Tools β’ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred β’ Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work across disciplines β’ Knowledge of basic mechanical and plumbing systems to support integrated design discussions Whatβs Offered: β’ Hybrid work schedule with flexible remote work options β’ Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities β’ Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance β’ 401(k) with employer match β’ Flexible paid time off policy, paid holidays, and additional personal time benefits β’ Professional development support including training programs, seminars, licensure assistance, and exam reimbursement β’ Wellness and fitness incentive programs β’ Strong internal culture focused on collaboration, growth, and long-term career development This is a confidential search for an Electrical Engineer seeking a technically challenging role with strong project exposure, career advancement potential, and a flexible work environment.
