This role offers a hybrid work schedule with flexibility to work from home up to 2–3 days per week after an initial onboarding period. Key Responsibilities: • Design electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects across multiple sectors • Develop lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and emergency/standby power systems • Prepare design documents including drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications • Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines • Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards • Support construction administration including submittal review, RFIs, site visits, and field reporting • Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and code officials throughout all project phases • Contribute to project delivery in a fast-paced, multi-project environment Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for building design projects • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • EIT or PE license preferred • Strong understanding of electrical building systems design • Experience with lighting and power system design for new construction and renovations • Familiarity with industry tools such as COMcheck, REScheck, FlaCom, Visual, AGi32, and SKM Power Tools • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred • Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work across disciplines • Knowledge of basic mechanical and plumbing systems to support integrated design discussions What’s Offered: • Hybrid work schedule with flexible remote work options • Competitive compensation with bonus opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Flexible paid time off policy, paid holidays, and additional personal time benefits • Professional development support including training programs, seminars, licensure assistance, and exam reimbursement • Wellness and fitness incentive programs • Strong internal culture focused on collaboration, growth, and long-term career development This is a confidential search for an Electrical Engineer seeking a technically challenging role with strong project exposure, career advancement potential, and a flexible work environment.
