In this role, you will provide the technical support of plant electrical, instrumentation and control equipment/ systems for multiple plant operations. Job Description Technical adviser/ team member supporting Chemical Plants and Maintenance I/E Teams Design and supervise the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical instruments, control equipment and process automation for the plant site Assist in programming and making program modifications for DCS, PLCs (includes: Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Rockwell, Drive systems etc) Write specifications for selection of new instrumentation and spare part stock Train personnel in the operation and maintenance of computer-controlled instrumentation Provide support for preventative maintenance, repairs and installation of equipment associated with the Power Distribution Systems (includes: Transformers, Main Substation, 230 KV Circuits and Switch Gear, High Voltage Section of the Turbogenerator, 23 KV Switch Houses, Power Lines, and Plant Grounds) Assist all areas with investigating reasons for equipment failures as requested Support and implement the OSHA STAR Program Qualifications BS Electrical Engineering with 5+years experience as Controls/ Automation Engineer, specializing in DCS, MCC, PLC systems/ networks for chemical, pulp & paper or process related industries.

Requires solid technical experience with process controls, instrumentation, and electrical plant operations Knowledge of and experience in the process control networking protocols, hardware, and programming Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, design, installation and startup of instrumentation systems Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future #J-18808-Ljbffr
