Electrical CAD Engineer 

Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer  to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities as an Electrical CAD Engineer: 

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
  
  
• Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams. 
  
  
• Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy. 
  
  
• Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.
  
  
• Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and in keeping within company guidelines. 
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years electrical design experience
  
  
• Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
  
  
• Strong understanding of electrical principles
  
  
• Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable 
  
  
• Excellent eye for detail 
  
  

The Electrical CAD Engineer role:

• Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  
  
• Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
  
  
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
