About the Role

\n

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of all electrical and instrumentation construction activities on site – across LV and HV systems, power distribution, MCCs, cabling, field instrumentation, control systems, PLCs and SCADA. You'll lead a team of E&I Supervisors, trades, labour hire and subcontractors, and be the go-to for safe, on-time, on-spec delivery.

This is a site-based role on an 8:6 roster, with your point of hire in Brisbane, Perth or Darwin. Flights, accommodation and meals are provided while on site.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n
• Leading and mentoring E&I Supervisors responsible for daily on-site operations, building capability across the team
\n
• Overseeing all E&I construction activities against schedule, budget and specification
\n
• Managing installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of E&I systems to industry best practice
\n
• Driving quality control, reviewing ITPs, test results, redlines and as-builts, and resolving deficiencies fast
\n
• Acting as the primary liaison between HTS, E&I teams, the client and other on-site trades
\n
• Championing a safety-first culture through inspections, audits, toolbox talks and pre-starts
\n
• Identifying constructability, design or interface issues early and implementing practical site solutions
\n

What You'll Bring

\n

\n
• Electrical Trade Qualification and a current Electrical Workers Licence (relevant state/territory)
\n
• Proven electrical supervisory experience in construction or mining environments
\n
• Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards, codes and statutory requirements
\n
• First Aid & CPR, Construction Industry Induction (White) Card, and UETDRRF004 (LV panel rescue)
\n
• Mining Supervisor G1, G8, G9 – or the willingness to obtain
\n
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
\n
• Bonus points for: instrumentation qualifications, a Diploma of Leadership & Management or Project Management, Working at Heights, EWP >11m, or estimating/tendering experience
\n
