We're Hiring | Assessment Writer – English Language Arts (US Curriculum)
Nexority Infotech is hiring experienced Assessment Writers with expertise in English Language Arts (ELA) and the US K–12 Curriculum.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have experience developing educational assessments, standardized test items, or item bank content for Grades 3–12. This is not a content writing, copywriting, SEO writing, or blog writing role.
Role: Assessment Writer – English Language Arts (US Curriculum)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Work Mode: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
- Develop high-quality ELA assessment items aligned with US state standards.
- Create and review assessment content for Grades 3–12.
- Write multiple item types, including technology-enhanced and traditional assessment questions.
- Review, revise, and improve assessment items based on quality guidelines.
- Ensure alignment with learning objectives, grade-level expectations, and curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, assessment specialists, and editors to maintain content quality.
- 2–5 years of experience in educational assessment development or item writing.
- Strong knowledge of the US K–12 Curriculum (Grades 3–12 preferred).
- Experience creating ELA assessments, item banks, or standardized test content.
- Familiarity with state standards such as Common Core or similar US academic standards.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality review experience.
- Experience with assessment management systems.
- Experience reviewing and editing assessment content.
- Background in EdTech, educational publishing, curriculum development, or assessment development.
