EHS Senior Engineer (Libertyville)

Hiring: Senior EHS Engineer Libertyville Direct Hire | Full Time $110K–$130K + 10% Annual Bonus We are seeking a hands-on Senior EHS Engineer to support the launch of a brand-new medical device manufacturing facility. This person will serve as the site EHS lead, helping build safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and establish a strong safety culture from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Lead environmental, health & safety programs and OSHA compliance Partner with engineering, operations, and facilities teams on machine and facility safety Conduct plant inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations Support machine guarding, PPE programs, and emergency preparedness Lead safety training and employee awareness initiatives Manage audits, OSHA logs, workers’ compensation, and corrective actions Build scalable EHS systems for a growing operation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, or related field Manufacturing EHS experience required Strong OSHA and industrial safety knowledge Startup/greenfield experience preferred Medical device, pharma, or cleanroom manufacturing experience is a plus This is a great opportunity to join a state-of-the-art facility with advanced automation, robotics, and long-term leadership growth potential.
