About the role
As a Part-Time Educator, you will help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children aged 0 to 5 can learn, explore and thrive.
You will:
Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
Create warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environments
Observe children’s interests and contribute to meaningful learning experiences
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Collaborate with your team to provide high-quality education and care
Support continuous improvement across the learning environment
Follow all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
About you
You are a caring, dependable and enthusiastic Educator who enjoys helping children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
You will have:
A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
Experience in a long day care or preschool environment
A sound understanding of child development and early childhood practice
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
A current Queensland Working with Children Check, or Blue Card
Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma management certifications
Responsible Person experience, or a willingness to be trained, which is advantageous
