eCommerce Video Content Production Team Manager

SerlinoLab

RemoteFull-timeMid LevelRemote

Job Description

From zero to €30M in two years. And we're just getting started.

Two years ago, SerlinoLab didn't exist. Today, we're on track to close 2026 at €30M in revenue, applying Italian pharmaceutical science to men's skincare for the US and Italian markets.

No corporate red tape, no endless meetings. Just a young, remote-first team obsessed with eCommerce, moving at a speed most brands can't even imagine. Our co-founder Oscar tells the story better than anyone https://bit.ly/4qepb0L

Why you should want to work with us

We're not hiring someone to manage a to-do list. We're hiring someone to build the engine behind our entire video content operation, across two countries, from the ground up.

What you'll get out of joining the team:

  • A production pipeline that's yours to design. Nobody's handing you a rigid playbook. If the current process is inefficient, you fix it. If a better tool exists, you bring it in. You'll shape how content gets made here, not just enforce someone else's system.
  • The most advanced AI stack on the market, and full ownership of it. You'll manage the tools our editors use every day, Higgsfield, Freepik, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, and whatever comes next. Optimizing credits, writing the SOPs, deciding what stays and what gets replaced.
  • Real people leadership, not just task management. Editors in Italy and the USA will report to you. You'll hire them, grow them, and be the reason they get better month over month, not just the person checking their output against a brief.

What you'll actually do

  • Research and implement better content production tools, workflows, and processes
  • Build and improve the production process end-to-end, from brief handoff to editing workflow to revisions to final QA
  • Own the HR side for all video editors in Italy and the USA: performance, growth, hiring, performance, compensation
  • Research and hire new video editors in both markets as the team scales
  • Spot and fix bottlenecks before they cost us time, overloaded editors, slow feedback loops, footage sitting untouched
  • Manage the entire raw file pipeline, ingesting, renaming, reviewing, and prepping assets like testimonials, b-roll, and a-roll for future use
  • Follow the daily creative direction set by the Creative Strategists, this is a systems and people role, not a creative direction role
  • Review editors' work on a recurring basis and track real improvement over time, not just brief compliance
  • Run ongoing skill development for every editor on the team
  • Manage all AI software tools in production, credit usage, SOPs, output quality, and scouting what's next
  • Handle technical issues for editors, fix it or escal…

Who we’re looking for

More than your resume, we care about how you think about systems and people at the same time. We're looking for someone who's managed a eCommerce, DtC, direct response video production team before, and who gets genuine satisfaction from a pipeline that just works.

Specifically:

  • Experience managing a video editing or creative production team
  • Deep experience on AI video tools to know what's worth adopting versus what's hype
  • Obsessed with keeping things clean, accurate, and up to date, and knows how to build a system that makes that automatic
  • Comfortable taking full ownership of a process, a person, or an outcome, and doesn't let things fall through the cracks
  • Organized, self-driven, and professional in how you manage time, relationships, and execution

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing distributed teams across different countries and time zones
  • Background working alongside performance marketing or growth teams

Who this job is NOT for

If you want to set creative direction or be the voice behind the content, this isn't your role, that's the Creative Strategists' job. If you need a fully built system handed to you on day one, you'll be frustrated here. And if managing people and messy operational details at the same time sounds exhausting rather than energizing, this isn't the right seat.
