Daily Duties:

• Working closely with your fellow Educators and Service Co-ordinator, you will enjoy;
• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the service's community
• Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice, and in accordance with the centre's philosophy and approach
• Documenting children's learning and development
• Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Kingsford Early Learning Centre Group Curriculum
• Room leader role expected to lead, mentor and guide a team of educators
• Maintain a positive and constructive team environment
• Work positively and constructively with team members, centre director and management team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in early childhood education
• At least 1 year proven track record experience in the relevant leadership role (preferred)
• Full time working rights with no working hours restrictions, PR or citizen
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results
• Leadership capability and confidence guiding a team
• A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for early childhood education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A cooperative team player who loves and respects children in all their individuality and developmental stages
• Commitment to excellence in early childhood
