Daily Duties:
- Working closely with your fellow Educators and Service Co-ordinator, you will enjoy;
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the service's community
- Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice, and in accordance with the centre's philosophy and approach
- Documenting children's learning and development
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Kingsford Early Learning Centre Group Curriculum
- Room leader role expected to lead, mentor and guide a team of educators
- Maintain a positive and constructive team environment
- Work positively and constructively with team members, centre director and management team
Requirements:
- Minimum 2β3 yearsβ experience in early childhood education
- At least 1 year proven track record experience in the relevant leadership role (preferred)
- Full time working rights with no working hours restrictions, PR or citizen
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results
- Leadership capability and confidence guiding a team
- A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A cooperative team player who loves and respects children in all their individuality and developmental stages
