VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a recognisable Public Sector employer based in Belfast city centre in their recruitment of a DP Accountant. This is an initial temporary contract that has the potential to become a permanent post.

The DP Accountant will support the Head of Finance with the preparation of monthly accounts for the organisation. To be considered for this role it is essential to be a fully qualified Accountant with at least 1 years post qualified experience.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 1 years PQE
• Financial & Management Accountant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Available at short notice
• Ability to work as part of a team, alongside using own initiative

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly files
• Analyse data, investigating & reporting on variances
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Prepare monthly journals
• Support wider team
