Job Description

Duties The Divisional Analyst provides coordinated administrative, financial, and project support to senior leadership by managing records and information systems, preparing analysis, reports, briefings, and correspondence, supporting budgets, cashflows, and variance reporting, coordinating divisional projects and committees, overseeing timekeeping and assets, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and providing operational oversight of administrative staff to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effective service delivery. Qualifications Essential: Post‑secondary education in Office Administration or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Experience providing executive‑level administrative support in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure work environment. Experience managing electronic and paper records, including tracking systems, file management, and archiving. Experience with financial administration, including cash flow, variance reporting, and budgets.

Excellent written communication skills, with demonstrated experience drafting, proofreading, and formatting general and ministerial correspondence. Effective verbal communication skills. Experience researching, analyzing, compiling, and summarizing information.

Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software applications. Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information. Strong political acumen skills, with the ability to act with tact and diplomacy.

Effective interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines. Experience with program administration, including supporting the design, implementation, and improvement of administrative processes and systems.

Desired: Experience with event management and coordination including arranging travel and accommodations. Conditions of Employment Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
