Job Description
Core Purpose To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. Essential Purpose Support the overall success of the clubs in their designated area, including Personal Training, Group Training, financial success, employee experience, and member satisfaction. Responsibilities Monitor fitness sales performance at the district level; identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Recruit, train, and develop gym managers and staff to maintain a high‑performance team. Exhibit leadership by prioritizing tasks, coaching for performance, communicating effectively, and conducting business analysis. Lead and manage a team of Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers across multiple locations, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent sales performance.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational effectiveness and drive growth. Ensure all gym locations operate efficiently, adhere to company policies and standards, and maintain high-quality service, cleanliness, and facility maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Address and resolve member complaints and staff concerns promptly and effectively. Foster a collaborative environment among gym managers and staff to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. Build relationships within the community to enhance brand visibility and attract new members.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of fitness experience. Minimum of 3 years of leadership/management experience. Minimum of 2 years of multi‑unit management; district manager may oversee 4–6 locations.
Previous background in the fitness industry with a focus on fitness, sales, and management; solid understanding of fitness products, services, and member engagement strategies. Experience delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, and training staff to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional and empathetic at all levels.
Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills with people at all levels and all functions. Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem‑solving; good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills. Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations. Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports. Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs. Additional Earnings In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible for bonus opportunities.
