District Coordinator (Agri Sales)

AGS Irrigation is a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality drip and sprinkler irrigation systems serving agricultural markets across India. We specialize in supporting farmers through efficient irrigation solutions that increase crop productivity and reduce water usage. AGS Irrigation actively works with the MIMIS (Micro Irrigation Management Information System) Government Subsidy Scheme to ensure farmers receive eligible financial support for installing micro-irrigation systems.

The District Coordinator (Agri Sales) is responsible for developing the dealer network, increasing brand awareness, increasing business through MIMIS subsidy-linked sales, and providing on-ground farmer support and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote AGS Irrigation products such as drip irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, HDPE and PVC pipes, and accessories.
• Generate leads by visiting farmers, retailers, dealers, and agriculture offices in the assigned territory.
• Assist farmers and dealers in applying for the MIMIS subsidy scheme by handling required documents, farmer registration, land records submission, and follow-up for approval.
• Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and farmer awareness meetings.
• Identify and appoint new dealers and strengthen existing dealer relationships.
• Represent AGS in district level review meetings held by govt agriculture and horticulture offices.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Maintain daily visit reports, sales tracking, collection and territory performance updates.
• Coordinate after-sales service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with Agriculture Officers, ADH/AAO offices, and local value influencers.

Required Qualifications:

• Any Degree / Diploma (Agriculture or Agri-Marketing preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in field sales (Micro-Irrigation segment preferred)
• Freshers with good communication skills and willingness for field work may also apply.
• We require the District coordinator to reside in their respective districts.
