Description
The Dishwasher is responsible for helping the culinary team to maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain kitchen work areas to be clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment to be clean and organized in the correct areas.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies and monitor all chemical solution concentration.
• Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
• Keep floors and floor mats clean.
• Receive and stock deliveries.
• Polishing glassware and silverware.
• Maintain the storage areas clean and organize walk-in cooler.
• Support kitchen operations at the direction of the Executive Chef.

Requirements

• • Clear understanding of the English language (verbal and written).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimal work experience.
  • Ability to work in hot and damp environments.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, up to 8 hours per shift. 
  • Flexible in schedule and willing to meet the demands of a complex operation. 
  • Time management skills.
