Job Description

The Sales Director is responsible for driving new business development, building strong client relationships, and increasing revenue by promoting janitorial services within the hospitality industry. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to deliver customized solutions based on client needs. Key Responsibilities Business Development, Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities.

Generate leads through cold calling, walk-ins, networking, and follow-ups. Schedule and conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations. Build and maintain a consistent and active sales pipeline.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management Perform site walkthroughs to evaluate client facility needs. Develop and present tailored proposals and service solutions. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and facility managers.

Partner with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations. Share client feedback internally to support continuous improvement. Promote services aligned with client needs within the hospitality sector.

Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demands. Provide insights on market conditions, pricing strategies, and service opportunities. Reporting & Administration Track and manage sales activities, leads, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.

Prepare regular reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline updates. Qualifications Proven track record in B2B sales (experience in janitorial, facilities management, hospitality, or service industries preferred). Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build trust and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Highly organized, self-motivated, and effective in time management.

Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales tools. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends based on client needs. Number of new contracts secured per month/quarter.

Revenue generated from new business. Proposal-to-close conversion rate. Client retention within the first year.
