Overview Springfield Golf and Country Club is a premier private club dedicated to delivering exceptional golf and member experience. As part of our continued investment in the golf experience, Springfield is currently in the planning process for a comprehensive renovation of the practice facilities, which will include the integration of Trackman technology and the addition of designated teaching and club‑fitting bays. The enhanced facility will provide state‑of‑the‑art tools and dedicated spaces to support instruction, player development, and club fitting.

Positions Overview Springfield Golf and Country Club is seeking a motivated and accomplished PGA Professional to serve as Director of Player Development. This role is designed for a dedicated instructor who is passionate about growing the game and delivering best‑in‑class instruction while building comprehensive player‑development programs. The primary focus is to provide exceptional instruction through private lessons, group programming, and clinics, with a strong emphasis on long‑term player development.

The director will also design and implement innovative instructional programs and promote increased member engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction. In addition to instruction, this position offers the opportunity to lead structured player‑development pathways, organized tournament‑style programming, and collaborate closely with golf operations leadership to elevate the club’s instructional offerings. This is a highly visible member‑facing role that blends teaching expertise, program management, and leadership within a premier private club environment.

Experience Required PGA/LPGA Class A Professional in good standing Demonstrated success teaching and coaching across all skill levels Strong expertise in full swing, short game, and course management instruction Proficiency with modern technologies, including Trackman and video analysis Proven ability to develop, grow, and sustain instructional programs and drive lesson revenue Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships and effectively engage members, including juniors and beginner golfers Strong organizational, time‑management, and program coordination skills Essential Responsibilities Deliver high‑level private and group instruction for all players of all ages and abilities Continue to develop and enhance structured player‑development pathways for juniors, women, and men Design and implement long‑term player‑development programs that build confidence, enjoyment, and a lifelong connection to the game Create and collaborate in the execution of member tournaments and major club events Utilize teaching technologies, including Trackman, to provide data‑driven instruction and player feedback Provide club fitting and club repair Maintain a highly visible presence within golf operations, engaging regularly with members and guests Communicate effectively with members, staff, and leadership to ensure a seamless and elevated golf experience Maintain a social‑media presence Benefits Health, dental, and vision benefits, per company policy Meals while on duty Staff agreement Clothing allowance Simple IRA with company match Playing and practicing privileges #J-18808-Ljbffr
