Director of Nursing (DON) - Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center Location: Miami, Florida Company: Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center $150K-$175K annually Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Nursing (DON) with extensive nursing home experience to join our team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our nursing department and overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care. With a focus on rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, you will work closely with our Medical Director and other department heads to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the nursing department, aligning with the center's mission and goals Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional patient care Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department heads to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that they are individualized, comprehensive, and evidence-based Ensure that nursing staff are adequately prepared to handle emergencies and crisis situations, providing support and guidance as needed Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary Develop and manage the nursing department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among staff members Requirements Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and patient care Current RN license in the state of Florida Certification in nursing administration or a related field is preferred What We Offer $150K-$175K annually Comprehensive benefits package Join a dynamic and compassionate team committed to providing exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services Grow professionally with opportunities for advancement and ongoing education and training Work in a state-of-the-art facility with the latest technology and equipment Collaborate with a talented and dedicated team of healthcare professionals #J-18808-Ljbffr
