Director of Nursing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Works intra and interdepartmentally to ensure cost-effective utilization. Develops, discusses, and communicates plans of development for nursing department in collaboration with managers, staff, and other departmental leaders to address identified needs in compliance with hospital goals and values.

Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes. Performs Other Job Duties As Needed And/or As Assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of management-level nursing experience. Strong leadership, managerial, and effective time management skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.

LICENSE AND CERTFICIATIONS: Must hold a current state nursing license. BLS certification is required upon hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
