Director of Federal Business Development & Capture (Energetics)

We create cutting-edge manufacturing solutions using an innovative 3D printing platform that integrates advanced materials, machines, and software to produce solid rocket motor propellant grains and high-explosive charges.

Your Mission

You will own the growth engine of Supernova’s energetics division by identifying, shaping and winning RDTE opportunities, developing relationships with USG groups, preparing proposals, managing active programs, as well as overseeing the company’s compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capture end-to-end: turning opportunities into contracts, mapping requirements, competitive intel, proposal orchestration, proposal writing and filing.
• Developing relationships with USG groups and partners.
• Create commercial materials about products and business proposals to private companies.
• Communication and reporting for active programs.
• Lead compliance practice and implementation.

About you:

• Strong technical background (engineering or chemistry).
• 5+ years’ experience owning USG RDTE business development and capture responsibilities.
• Knowledge of energetic materials and applications, as well as the processing techniques to manufacture the final energetic components.
• Ability to communicate credibly with technical customers to present our solutions, processing their requirements into clear proposal scopes and milestones.
• Strong writing and program management discipline.
• Deep working knowledge of compliance in defense environments and ability to drive implementation with stakeholders.
• Comfortable in early-stage environment: extreme ownership, hands-on execution, high workload, fast-changing context.
