RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: Director, Enterprise Applications Role Summary The Director of Enterprise Applications leads the strategy, delivery, and performance of RaceTrac's enterprise application ecosystem. This role ensures that more than 400 applications-spanning Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, construction and engineering systems, and other corporate platforms-are reliable, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals. You'll partner closely with business owners and IT leaders, guide a team of managers and technical professionals, and shape the future of RaceTrac's digital capabilities.

Please note: this role is based in Atlanta, GA at RaceTrac's Store Support Center. This is not a remote-based position. Key Responsibilities • Own the enterprise applications strategy for assigned business units, ensuring systems meet organizational needs and support long-term growth. • Lead the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise applications across the organization. • Serve as the primary liaison between business owners and IT, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and shared outcomes. • Oversee application roadmaps, licensing, vendor relationships, and total cost of ownership. • Introduce new technologies-including AI-driven capabilities-that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and operational excellence. • Drive process improvements that simplify work for team members and elevate the guest experience. • Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to strengthen RaceTrac's competitive advantage. • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four managers and their respective teams; build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plans. • Manage strategic, cross-functional projects that streamline processes and improve enterprise-wide efficiency. • Ensure all initiatives and decisions align with RaceTrac's strategic vision, Core Values, Leadership Qualities, and The RaceTrac Way. • Act as the escalation point for critical Corporate Applications issues.

Success Measures ( First 6-12 Months) • Establish strong relationships with business owners, IT leadership, and C-level partners. • Assess the current application portfolio and deliver a clear, actionable roadmap for modernization and optimization. • Strengthen team performance through coaching, clarity, and improved operating rhythms. • Improve communication flow between IT and business units, ensuring transparency and alignment. • Deliver early wins in process improvement, system stability, or cost optimization. • Demonstrate forward-thinking leadership by identifying opportunities for AI, automation, and scalable enterprise solutions. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 7 years of related experience, ideally in retail, convenience, or similarly complex environments. • 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing multiple functional areas. • Proven ability to lead enterprise application portfolios, including large platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, or similar systems. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with C-level executives. • Experience supporting M&A activities from a systems and integration perspective. • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs. Preferred Skills • Experience in organizations known for operational excellence • Background supporting HR, construction, engineering, or corporate services applications. • Familiarity with AI-driven tools and how they integrate into enterprise ecosystems. • Strong executive presence with excellent presentation and influencing capabilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Who You'll Work With • Reports to: Senior IT leadership • Works closely with: Business owners across 19 departments, Corporate Services, HR, Finance, Construction, Engineering, and other enterprise teams • Part of a team that values collaboration, communication, innovation, and doing what's right for the guest Responsibilities: Identify and maintain overarching strategy behind the applications for which they are responsible, considering best practice as well as organizational and user needs. Maintain knowledge of organization and user needs and provide information about capabilities, changes, and technical limitations of software. Drives process improvement strategies that increase efficiencies and simplifies the lives of our team members and guests.

Strengthens key external vendor relationships to maximize RaceTrac's position in the marketplace. Remains ahead of industry trends, business practices, and processes, within areas of responsibility, to strengthen RaceTrac's competitive advantage. Approves, prioritizes, and monitors all department work and expenditures.

Ensures all decisions, projects, and process improvements are aligned with RaceTrac's strategic vision. Builds and maintains a change management culture that creates value for internal stakeholders and the organization. Leads and develops employees.

Manages strategic projects that drive streamlined processes and improved efficiencies through completion. Models and promotes RaceTrac's Core Values, Leadership Qualities, and The RaceTrac Way throughout personal interactions and department work. Develops succession plans for each role to make sure RaceTrac is set up for success when people leave the organization or move within it.

Introduces new technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Functions as the supportive decision maker for all escalated Corporate Applications issues that may arise.
