Build the giving engine of a fast-growing national men's ministry. The Redeemed exists to build a Christ-centered community where men grow through authentic connection, meaningful conversation, and shared experiences. Through small groups, digital community, and media, men across the United States and beyond are finding brotherhood, healing, and spiritual growth.

We believe no man should walk alone, and no man should be excluded because of finances. We are seeking an experienced Director of Development to build the financial foundation to carry this mission into the future. This is a rare opportunity for a builder.

The right candidate will help architect and lead a development function with significant upside, strong leadership support, and a front-row seat to what God is doing in men’s lives across the country. Role Summary The Director of Development is a builder — someone who can architect a fundraising function from the ground up, cultivate meaningful donor relationships, and create the financial infrastructure The Redeemed needs to grow its mission nationally. This is not a maintenance role.

The right candidate will work closely with the Chairman & Founder and the leadership team to build and execute a development strategy that grows major gifts, expands recurring giving, and creates a sustainable revenue engine for the ministry. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will be the one identifying donors, making the calls, building the pipeline, and closing gifts — while also building the systems, campaigns, and processes that make the development function stronger over time.

Key Responsibilities Build and execute an annual fundraising plan with clear, measurable goals Create a diversified revenue strategy across major gifts, recurring donors, campaigns, and partnerships Translate ministry vision into a development strategy that attracts and retains donors Help establish long-term financial sustainability for the ministry 2. Major Donors & Partnerships Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donor relationships personally Partner with the Founder on key donor opportunities and high-value conversations Develop new strategic partnerships aligned with the ministry’s mission Build and manage a major donor pipeline with clear reporting for leadership 3.

Recurring Giving Growth Design and grow a recurring donor community from the ground up Build clear pathways for supporters at multiple giving levels Develop recognition and engagement systems that improve retention and donor experience 4. Development Infrastructure & Tools Partner with the Chief of Staff & Operations to ensure the CRM supports donor tracking, pipeline management, and development reporting Build donor segmentation, giving history, and pipeline systems within the established platform 5. Campaigns & Storytelling Partner with the communications team to execute compelling fundraising campaigns Translate transformation testimonies and ministry impact into donor engagement Develop seasonal campaigns and year-end giving initiatives Integrate giving opportunities across email, podcast, digital platforms, and events 6.

Board & Leadership Engagement Equip leaders and board members for meaningful fundraising conversations Help build a culture of generosity and mission-driven partnership across the organization Provide clear development reporting and updates to leadership and the board Represent The Redeemed with credibility and passion in donor-facing settings First-Year Priorities Success in year one will include: Development plan built and fully operational Donor CRM configured and producing clear development reporting Major donor pipeline established and actively growing Recurring giving program launched or meaningfully expanded Annual campaign executed successfully Clear reporting systems in place for leadership and the board Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Chairman & Founder for development strategy, key donor relationships, and revenue performance. The Founder brings a deep personal network, a faith-driven conviction about this ministry’s mission, and direct engagement in major donor conversations. This is a high-trust, high-access reporting relationship — the right candidate will function as a genuine partner to the founder.

Works closely with the Director for organizational alignment, execution, and integration across ministry operations. Ideal Candidate Must Be Strong In Fundraising strategy and major gift development Building and stewarding donor relationships personally Designing and managing development systems and pipelines from scratch Communicating with clarity, passion, and credibility Translating mission and impact into compelling donor narratives High ownership, initiative, and consistent follow-through Must Be Comfortable With Doing the work themselves — not just managing others who do Working closely with a founder in a high-trust, high-access relationship Operating in a growing, entrepreneurial organization with evolving systems Managing multiple donor relationships and development priorities simultaneously Partnering across communications, operations, and ministry leadership Aligning with Christian faith and the mission of The Redeemed Experience & Education 7+ years of experience in fundraising, development, major gifts, or nonprofit revenue leadership — with a demonstrated ability to build donor relationships, grow recurring giving, and manage development systems. Experience securing significant gifts, building development infrastructure from the ground up, managing CRM and reporting tools, and partnering with senior leadership on major donor strategy.

Ministry or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required. What matters most is a proven fundraising track record, strong relationship instincts, and a genuine passion for advancing a Christ-centered mission. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
