DevOps Engineer

• Participate in prototyping, architecting, and building the development, production, and test infrastructure supporting Tecsys services
• Build and automate client infrastructure deployments
• Design scalable deployment, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation solutions across the Tecsys platform lifecycle
• Leverage artificial intelligence agents (Amazon Kiro) to orchestrate and accelerate technical tasks while validating results
• Develop deployment logic, automated tests, and incident response playbooks
• Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure, hybrid architectures, Kubernetes, and container environments
• Monitor platform stability, resolve incidents, and participate in on-call support
• Collaborate with development teams on deployment automation and infrastructure scalability
• Plan and execute maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience supporting high-volume, highly available Java/.NET production systems
• 2+ years of production experience with AWS or Azure
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix, Bash, scripting, and networking
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform, and Ansible
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure infrastructure, including IAM, EC2, VPC, load balancing, and autoscaling
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, or Nagios
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Canadian citizen, Canadian permanent resident, or holder of a valid Canadian work permit
