Job Development Technologist, Cabin Innovation Primary Location: Administrative Centre (CA) Organization: Aerospace Canada Shift: Day Employee Status: Regular Requisition: 6909 Responsibilities Collaborate with design, production, purchasing and quality assurance teams as well as suppliers in the different stages of the product development process. Be a stakeholder in research and development activities for the aircraft cabin and participate in the evaluation of materials under development. Develop cabinet, mechanism and system components from concept to final prototype.

Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes. Manufacture the different parts of prototypes and models using various tools. Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.

Conduct studies, analyzes and calculations to guide design technicians and project directors in their work. Work on the development, design and testing of various mechanical/electrical systems. Qualifications You have a technical diploma in aerospace construction or furniture and cabinetmaking technology.

You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of cabinetmaking design, composite materials and prototype manufacturing. You have great motivation to take on challenges and strong determination to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
