Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end configuration and technical data management services across multiple software and system integration initiatives.
  • Establish robust version control, baselining practices, and comprehensive governance of technical engineering artefacts.
  • Systematically track and control changes to configuration items to preserve the traceability and integrity of environments throughout their lifecycles.
  • Plan the capture of configuration information and collaborate with technical teams to define the scope of managed assets.
  • Perform regular verification activities and data audits to ensure complete compliance with internal quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Evaluate and champion the adoption of automated configuration management tools, techniques, and strategic guidelines.

Skills & Experience

  • Technical Toolkit: Deep familiarity with enterprise configuration management (CM) methodologies, data governance frameworks, and automated CM tools.
  • Experience: Demonstrated background managing technical data structures, lifecycles, and configuration environments, preferably within a complex Defence or Federal Government landscape.
  • Core Capabilities: Leadership capabilities aligned with SFIA Level 5 (CFMG), including the ability to develop standards, plan complex asset scopes, and align processes with broader organisational guidelines.

Eligibility & Clearance Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Due to the secure nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current NV2 security clearance
