• Charge development and production headings
• Handle, transport, and store explosives safely and efficiently
• Follow site blasting and evacuation procedures
• Prepare blast holes to reduce misfires

Requirements

• Based in Parkes or keen to make the move
• At least 12 months’ experience in a similar underground role
• Blasting Explosives User Licence
• Working at Heights ticket
• Security clearance to handle explosives
• Safety-focused mindset
• Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster covering days and nights

Demonstrates expertise in safely handling and transporting explosives, adhering to site blasting procedures, and maintaining a safety-focused mindset. Holds relevant licenses and certifications to operate in underground mining environments effectively.
