Civilmart is an Australian-owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products, supplying residential development, local government, water, civil infrastructure, irrigation, plumbing and drainage sectors. With 24 sites across QLD, NSW, VIC and SA, we are one of Australia’s largest producers of precast concrete.
We are now looking for a Customer Service/Despatch Coordinator to join our Wodonga team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role connecting customers, Sales, Production and Transport to deliver exceptional service and ensure orders are delivered on time.
Job Description
As the Customer Service/Despatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from enquiry through to delivery, while coordinating daily despatch and transport requirements.
Working closely with Sales, Production, Transport and customers, you will ensure orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated efficiently, customer enquiries are resolved promptly, and a high level of service is maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing customer orders, enquiries and quotes
Coordinating daily despatch and delivery requirements
Liaising with customers, drivers, Sales and Production
Monitoring deliveries and resolving service issues
Maintaining accurate order, inventory and dispatch records
Supporting stock control and general branch administration
Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency
Desired Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, civil construction or similar environment
Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach to work
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual and repetitive tasks
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safe work practices
Previous experience working with concrete or precast products will be highly regarded
Forklift, crane, dogging/rigging or other relevant tickets will be advantageous, but not essential
