About The Job The company is a full‑service builder offering preconstruction consulting, general contracting, and construction management services on multifamily and adaptive reuse projects throughout Southern California. They are seeking to add a valued Design Manager to our growing Design and Construction team. Key Responsibilities Bridge the gap between the design teams and construction operations Advocate for owner/contractor's interest, while preserving the design intent Manage the flow of information between the Design Teams and Construction Team Translate owner/contractor's desires into actionable directives Participate in Pre‑construction planning Participate in Value Engineering exercise Participate in Constructability Review Participate in BIM coordination Oversees the RFI and Submittal process Education And Experience BA or BS of Architecture, B.

Arch or M. Arch degree preferred At least 3 years of professional experience at the architecture firm or construction firm Must have had Construction Administration experience Technical Skills Excellent proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Familiarity with construction management software - Procore or similar Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is a plus Core Competencies Understands cost, schedule, and buildability Strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills Able to multitask and work on different scopes at the same time Able to work with different scales, from entire building down to the details Clear and effective communication skills Has a critical eye for design, quality, and details #J-18808-Ljbffr
