Design Engineer

DDC is a trusted provider of fire protection design across a wide range of sectors, including data centres, commercial, residential, pharmaceutical, and healthcare. As demand for our specialist services continues to rise, we are seeking a graduate design engineer to join our team based in Dundalk, Co. Louth.

Responsibilities

• To carry out engineering design activities in a proficient and professional manner.
• Create 3D data-rich information models in accordance with BIM industry standards.
• Design and develop fire sprinkler designs in accordance with industry standards.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, electrical, and fire protection services.
• Attend coordination meetings and contribute to design discussions as required.

Candidates must hold an honours degree in engineering or a related discipline, with mechanical engineering preferred.

Alternatively, candidates who have not yet graduated must currently hold a minimum 2:1 average in their engineering programme.
