We areseekingan experienced and motivated nurse to lead a new Division-wide Violence & Aggression (V&A) ReductionProgrammewithin the Division of Medicine for a12 monthsecondmentpost.

This dedicated role has been created as aspend-to-save investment,recognisingthe significant impact that violence and aggressionhason staff wellbeing, sickness absence, retention, patientexperienceand operational performance. The successful candidate will lead a structured improvementprogrammedesigned to reduce workforce harm and deliver measurable improvements for staff and patients, showing impact at 12 months.
The Role
Working within the Staff Experience Team, you will:
- Lead aDivision-wide V&A reductionprogramme.
- UsePatient First A3methodologytoidentifyroot causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Analyseincident,workforceand staff experience data toidentifyhotspots and priorities.
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams, matrons, Patient Safety, Security, Violence Reduction Officers,HRand Professional Nurse Advocates amongst others.
- Support delivery of the NHS Violence Prevention and Reduction Staff Standards and promote a culture of dignity,respectand psychological safety.

- A registerednurse with experience of leading change and improvement.
- A registered Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA)
- Passionate about staff wellbeing and workforce experience.
- Skilled ininfluencing,coachingand engaging teams.
- Experienced in quality improvement, projectmanagementor A3methodology.
- Comfortable working acrossorganisationalboundaries to deliver lasting change.

Essential
- Registered 1st level Nurse (RGN) and/or registered Mental Health Nurse
- Current NMC Registration
- Post registration study in Health Promotion or related subject
- PNA master module completion or willingness to undertake
Desirable
- Masters level 7 education undertaken or willing to work towards
- Qualification in Teaching and Assessing
- Coaching qualification or willingness to work towards

- Experience on leading on a range of staff experience and engagement projects
- Experience of managing information gathering, collation and dissemination process including contribution to meetings papers
- Experience of presenting information creatively and ensuring it is engaging
- Proven experience of leading projects with successful outcomes
- Flexibility to move quickly from one topic to another in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to lead a small team and be a collaborative team-player
