Responsibilities & Requirements Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments. Their responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.

The Guest Service Department Manager ensures that Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety standards, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items. The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals.

The manager also guarantees Crew start their shift on a positive note and remain recognized and motivated throughout their tenure. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We look for positive team players with flexible schedules, a passion for the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment, and a minimum age of 18 for corporate‑owned restaurants.
