Why This Role Matters To drive sales and operational excellence for a specific department/category within the store (e.g., furniture, décor, furnishings), ensuring high customer satisfaction and achievement of business targets What You Will Own Sales performance of the assigned department Team supervision (sales associates within the department) Customer engagement and assisted selling for high-value products Visual merchandising of the department as per guidelines Stock availability, replenishment, and inventory accuracy Department-level reporting and performance tracking Key Result Areas Achieve department-wise sales targets Improve conversion %, ATV, and category contribution Ensure high product availability and minimal stock-outs Maintain VM standards and attractive product displays Deliver excellent customer experience and increase repeat customers Reduce shrinkage and maintain stock accuracy What Success Looks Like Consistent achievement of department sales targets Strong growth in key categories (e.g., sofas, beds, dining, décor) High customer engagement leading to better conversions Well-merchandised department aligned with brand standards Efficient stock management with minimal discrepancies Motivated team delivering strong individual performance Who Thrives in This Role Graduate - Any Stream 4–8 years of retail experience (preferably furniture/home retail) Strong selling skills, especially in assisted and consultative sales Ability to manage and motivate a small team Eye for detail in visual merchandising and store presentation Data-driven approach to tracking sales and performance High energy and customer-first mindset
