Position Summary
Department Manager at World Wide Wings, a franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 1780 E Boulevard Unit 119, Kokomo, IN 46902. This role is responsible for overseeing the operation of the restaurant, managing staff, ensuring quality and profitability, and creating a fun environment for guests and team members.

Salary
$18.00–$27.40 hourly

Core Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operation of the restaurant, supporting the General Manager.
- Manage staff hiring, training, scheduling, performance feedback, and development.
- Maintain safe, compliant environment and achieve profitability through revenue and labor management.
- Ensure adherence to food and beverage product standards, vendor relations, and inventory control.
- Drive quality operations, including new product rollouts, recipe adherence, and cleanliness standards.
- Adjust performance metrics, create action plans, and execute initiatives to resolve issues.
- Manage the Guest Comment program and guest experiences.
- Perform administrative functions such as invoicing, inventory, end‑of‑day procedures, and equipment monitoring.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, establish projections, and manage food and beverage costs.
- Implement sales and profit programs, contests, and incentives.
- Collaborate with other department managers for hiring and department growth.
- Conduct and coach team meetings, motivate participation, and uphold company standards.
Department‑Specific Responsibilities
Heart of House Department Manager
- Oversee all food/product matters in the HOH area; manage staff planning and development.
- Maintain food cost, labor results, and inventory levels; manage food and paper product orders.
- Conduct quality operations: recipe adherence, vendor communication, and kitchen equipment monitoring.
- Analyze performance metrics and create action plans.
Bar Department Manager
- Supervise bar operations, manage adult beverage matters, inventory control, and RAS compliance.
- Hire, train, develop, and motivate bartenders and bar servers.
- Maintain bar cost tools, inventory, and labor results.
- Manage waste, comps, voids and discounts.
- Implement bar sales incentive contests.
Hospitality Manager
- Supervise dining room service, staff planning, and development.
- Assist GM with local marketing, sales incentive contests, and guest experience.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
- Passion and commitment to a fast‑paced sports‑related environment.
- Team‑focused leadership, championing team success.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; able to handle multiple priorities.
- Open availability, including late nights and weekends.
- High school education or equivalent; valid driver’s license; satisfactory background check.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.
- Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar is preferred.
