Delivery Truck Driver

We have a full-time position available for a Delivery Truck Driver in Cairns, QLD, 4870.

SKILLS

The role requires you to have;

• 2 Years of relevant work experience
• Current QLD Drivers MR Licence
• Current LF licence to operate a forklift

RESPONSIBILITIES

To safely and efficiently operate company heavy vehicles to transport and deliver lubricant products to commercial and other customer locations throughout Cairns and surrounding regions.

POSITION DUTIES

• Operate heavy vehicles to safely transport and deliver lubricant products to customer sites across metropolitan, regional and rural areas.
• Plan and complete scheduled delivery runs, including safely manoeuvring vehicles at depots, customer premises and loading areas.
• Load, secure, transport and unload products in accordance with load restraint, weight, safety and product-handling requirements.
• Conduct pre-start and routine vehicle inspections, monitor vehicle condition and report faults, incidents or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe, roadworthy and operated in accordance with licence conditions and company procedures.
• Complete delivery dockets, vehicle records, inspection records and other required transport documentation accurately.
• Communicate with management, dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, access requirements, delays and other operational matters.

SALARY

The position will attract a salary between $80,000 to $100,000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
